Incorporated in 1965, and gaining nonprofit certification in 1971, the Greater New Haven Business and Professional Association, Inc.(GNHBPA) has single-mindedly served the needs of minorities, women and other underserved entrepreneurs and community residents. The nonprofit agency is a multi-resource development organization dedicated to assisting minority and women-owned business enterprises (M/WBE).
GNHBPA also pursues projects and initiatives that contribute to the general knowledge and advancement of the Greater New Haven community and youth.
